Field Trip 1

Some pictures from the trip!!!!

Peninsular Ranges Batholith, San Diego County, April 29-30

Please arrive by 5:45 AM at the loading dock on Saturday!!! We will return on Sunday afternoon (5 PM)

We will be camping at the Potrero campgrounds (San Diego County Park) on the evening of April 29. In late April, the average high is 72-77 F, average low 37-41 F: Dress accordingly!! There are two showers in each bathroom (M/F).

Here's the handout that gives some general information about the trip and provides a list of stuff you'll need to bring.

Field Trip 2

Some pictures from the trip!!!

Long Valley and Owens Valley, May 19-21

We will leave on Friday morning (10AM) and return on Sunday night.

We will be camping at Horton Creek near Bishop. This will allow us to eat out in style for dinner (and maybe for breakfast, too!)

Field trip assignments: each person will be responsible for making a handout about a particular topic, and presenting that topic during the field trip.
